Donovan Edward Falconer was born in Morristown, New Jersey, on November 2, 1994. He grew up in Morristown, NJ, in a household with two sisters. One of them is a teacher, while the other is a biologist.

Donovan attended high school in Morristown, where he was actively involved in sports, playing soccer and participating in track events. His tenacity in his studies was equally impressive, as he graduated from high school in the top 10 percent of his class. His academic performance earned him membership in the National Honor Society and the National Business Honor Society.

Upon graduating from high school, Donovan was accepted into Princeton University. At Princeton, he majored in Economics and earned a certificate in Political Economy. He excelled academically and graduated cum laude in 2017.

Early Career Highlights

While still an undergraduate student, Donovan was accepted into an MBA internship program, which marked the beginning of his career in the corporate world. After completing his degree, he joined a large CPG firm and quickly moved up the ranks. He started as a Brand Management intern in the summer of 2016 and worked on a comprehensive strategy for a $300 million brand to capture a larger share of Hispanic consumers.

Following his internship, Donovan joined the company full-time as an Assistant Brand Manager in 2017. He had a significant role in revitalizing a $100 million brand back to growth through a new digital strategy and packaging changes. One of his key contributions was launching the brand’s Instagram page, which became crucial to its media strategy.

In 2019, Donovan was promoted to Associate Brand Manager. He managed a $400 million brand in this role, focusing on its club business. He worked with agency partners to develop customer-facing strategies and sought growth opportunities by responding to consumer and customer feedback.

After more than three years in the CPG industry, Donovan decided to reorient his career into digital marketing. He joined a digital marketing agency, where his expertise lies in managing large accounts and developing effective strategies. Over nearly four years, Donovan rose to the position of Account Director, a testament to his ability to deliver results in a competitive industry.

As an Account Director, Donovan Falconer manages accounts with large ad spends, some exceeding $2 million annually. Life Outside Digital Marketing

Donovan Falconer is a fervent runner and hiker. He has completed two half marathons and enjoys spending time outdoors. One of his most memorable hiking experiences was completing the Four Pass Loop in Colorado, a challenging 27-mile hike through rugged terrain. In addition to running and hiking, he is an enthusiastic rock climber and backpacker.

Donovan is also passionate about photography and enjoys capturing landscapes during his outdoor adventures. His amateur photography skills have grown over the years, and he uses his creative eye in his personal life and marketing work.

Another significant part of Donovan’s life is his love for video games, particularly Runescape. Donovan also enjoys spending time with his two dogs, constant companions on his outdoor adventures.
